Ductless AC (Mini-Splits)
Cool the rooms you use. Skip the ductwork.
A ductless system puts cooling exactly where you want it, with no ducts to build, repair or lose energy through. One outdoor unit connects to one or more slim indoor units. That's it.

Simple setup
How it works
An outdoor compressor connects to wall-mounted, ceiling or floor units through a small line set that needs only a three-inch hole in the wall. Each indoor unit has its own remote or app control, so every room can run at a different temperature.
Is this you?
Where ductless makes sense
Additions and bonus rooms
that the main system can't reach
Garages, workshops and sunrooms
Older homes
with no space for ducts
Rooms that are always too warm
at the far end of the house
Homes with baseboard or radiant heat
and no central air
Home offices
where you want a different setting than the rest of the house
The good parts
What people like about it
- Efficiency. No ducts means no duct leakage, which can waste a good share of the air in a typical system.
- Quiet. Indoor units run at a hush. You'll hear the room, not the machine.
- Heating too. Most mini-splits are heat pumps. They cool in summer and heat in winter, even on cold days.
- Flexibility. Start with one room and add more units later.
- Clean look. Slim units that blend into the wall.
Straight talk
What to know before you buy
- Cost per room is often higher than central air, but total cost can be lower when ducts would be expensive or impossible
- Indoor units are visible, so placement matters
- Whole-house coverage needs several indoor units
- Installation quality matters. Line length, drainage and placement all affect performance
Our process
How we do it
- 1We visit and look at the rooms you want to cool
- 2We size each zone to its actual load
- 3You pick the style and number of indoor units
- 4We install, test every zone and show you the controls
- 5We check in after your first few weeks
Most single-zone installs finish in a day.
