Who this is for
Is this your situation?
- New construction and custom builds
- Homes with heat but no central air
- Additions, converted garages and finished attics
- Homeowners switching from window units to whole-home cooling
Our process
How we plan an installation
Step 1: Walk the house.
We measure rooms, check windows and insulation, and look at where the equipment and the ducts can go.
Step 2: Run the load calculation.
This is the math that decides what size system you need. Rules of thumb get it wrong. We do it properly.
Step 3: Check the ducts.
Existing ductwork is inspected for size, leaks and layout. If you have none, we design a layout that works.
Step 4: Quote it plainly.
You get a written estimate with equipment, labor, permits and any extras listed line by line.
The details
Details that make the difference
- Placement. The outdoor unit goes where it's quiet, accessible and out of the way of landscaping.
- Refrigerant lines. Properly sized, insulated and sealed so the system runs at the efficiency it's rated for.
- Thermostat. We help you choose between basic programmable and smart models.
- Permits. We pull them and schedule inspections so you don't have to.
- Condensate drain. Routed correctly, with a safety switch where it makes sense.
Good to know
Options worth asking about
Variable-speed systems
run longer at lower speeds, keeping temperatures even and cutting humidity.
Zoning
lets you cool the bedrooms at night without paying to cool the whole house.
Air filtration upgrades
can go in at the same time as the system.
Next step
Not sure which system fits?
Tell us about your home and we'll recommend what makes sense. Sometimes that's central air. Sometimes it's a ductless system. We'll be honest about which.
